If you pass by W. Washington and Richardson Streets in downtown Greenville, you will notice that the parking deck next to the BofA building has been leveled. Looks like Hughes Development Corp is ramping up to put in some more commercial and upgraded parking space. It's unclear what exactly will occupy the space, but rumors are that a hotel and retail space are likely. There are several companies that were unable to obtain space in the almost completed Project One right next door, and these will be prime opportunities. Hughes is also planning a major renovation of the BofA building. All this sits around the public plaza Piazza Bergamo that the city is upgrading.
