A week from this coming Saturday, on August 25th, the Bon Dance Festival (Obon Greenville) will be downtown from 11:30 am to 4:30 pm. Since 1995 this Japanese Culture Festival has been taking place during the Japanese holiday Obon. All day long there will be various dances, food from many local vendors, crafts, games, martial arts demonstrations and lots more! This family friendly event includes participants in traditional, colorful kimono, yukata and happi coats.
Admission is FREE, many of the activities are too! Sounds like a fun event to check out!
